About master.majestatnetwork.koldrix.com

master.majestatnetwork.koldrix.com is an independent monitoring and ranking service for Rust game servers, run under the MAJESTAT NETWORK banner. We track servers around the clock, publish what we measure — player counts, uptime, wipes, maps, PVP statistics — and give server owners the tools to manage their own listing, including a Web RCON console that works straight from the browser. Using the site costs nothing and requires no account; a Steam sign-in only unlocks the personal features.

29 739servers tracked (30 days)

What this site is

Rust has thousands of public servers and no single, honest place to compare them. Official listings show a name and a ping; they do not tell you whether a server was up all week, when it last wiped, how crowded it really gets in the evening, or whether anyone still plays there. That gap is what this project fills.

Every server we know about gets a permanent profile with its live status, player history, map, wipe schedule, uptime record and — where the operator opted in — full PVP and playtime statistics. Players get their own cross-server profiles keyed to their SteamID. Nothing here is pay-to-win: paid promotion never changes a ranking position, because the rankings are computed from measurements, not from budgets.

Where the data comes from

Direct queries (A2S)

We poll each server over the game's own query protocol every few minutes: name, map, player count, tags, server FPS. This is the same data the game client sees, so it cannot be faked in our direction.

Heartbeat from the plugin

Servers running our Majestat plugin report in continuously and can additionally send verified PVP events — kills, deaths, Heli and Bradley takedowns — and per-player playtime. These are the servers marked as verified.

Steam master discovery

We periodically walk the Steam master server list, so a public Rust server usually appears here on its own, without anyone submitting it.

Uptime and history

A separate probe records availability over time and keeps per-server metrics, which is what feeds the activity charts and the uptime figure. Servers that go dark stay listed for a while with a red light before dropping off — they are never silently deleted from the database.

For server owners

How we handle data and trust

We publish measurements, not declarations. Player counts come from the server itself, rankings are recomputed from raw events, and a server cannot edit its own numbers — only its description. Sign-in uses Steam OpenID, so we never see your password; we store your SteamID and the public profile data Steam hands us. RCON credentials, if you give them, are encrypted at rest with libsodium and used only server-side to open the console session. Statistics can be reset from your account at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Is the site free?

Yes. Browsing, rankings, server profiles and the Web RCON console cost nothing. There is no paid ranking boost — a position in the ranking cannot be bought, because it is computed from measured data.

Do I need an account?

No. An account is only needed to vote, comment, save favourites, claim a server or reset your own statistics. Signing in goes through Steam, so we never see a password.

How do you know how many players are on a server?

We ask the server itself over the game query protocol, and servers running our plugin also report in directly. We never take a player count from a form the owner filled in.

My server is not listed. What now?

Public servers are usually picked up automatically from the Steam master list within a day or so. If yours has not shown up, add it manually — and if it is private or LAN-only, discovery will not see it.

What does a verified server mean?

It runs our Majestat plugin, so PVP events and playtime come straight from the game server rather than being estimated. Only verified servers feed the global rankings.

Can I get my server or my data removed?

Yes. Owners can claim a listing and manage it, and players can reset their statistics from their account. Write to us for anything the panel does not cover.
